8. David Letterman- Extortion
In 2009, David Letterman was the victim of extortion. At the time, it became public that he had sex with women who had worked on his show. On the air, Letterman said that his current staff had been hounded by the media afterward. He apologized to his staff for putting them in that position. He went on to apologize to his wife, who he said had been "horribly hurt."
