A new promo video for season 5 of FOX's Glee hit the Internet on Friday. All the characters from the past season are shown in the clip except Cory Monteith's Finn Hudson.
TV Guide noted Monteith's absence in this promo clip, which actually features no new scenes. It instead shows joyous moments from season 4 since the cast is currently filming. The video does get fans excited for what is next in the series, but also serves as a reminder who will be missing.
Monteith died from an accidental drug overdose last month so, of course, he is sadly left out of the promo. Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy says that the third episode of the new season will serve as a tribute to Monteith's Finn character, Deadline.com reports. However, Murphy also notes that Finn's death will not mirror Monteith's and that it will instead remain a mystery on the show.
Season 5 of Glee will premiere on Thursday, September 26.
