Emma Roberts’ father, Eric Roberts, opened up about his daughter’s recent domestic violence issue with her boyfriend, Evan Peters.
While strolling through an airport, Emma’s parents were stopped by reporters who questioned them about their daughter’s recent arrest. While Emma’s mom didn’t want to comment, her dad told them what was on his mind.
Eric said to TMZ, “It’s their business… She’s in good shape… They’re grown ups. They’re baby grown ups but they’re grown ups.”
The domestic violence arrest occurred in Canada earlier this month when a fight turned physical with Emma and her beau. Peters had a bite mark and a bloody nose when Emma was taken into custody, according to The Huffington Post. Emma was released later when Peters declined to press chargers. The couple has been seen cozying up together since the altercation.
When reporters asked her father if he saw a future between Emma and Peters, as in marriage, Eric responded, “We’ll cross that bridge when we cross that bridge.”
