Avril Lavigne reveals cover art for upcoming album after joining Instagram

Avril Lavigne revealed the cover art for her newest self-title album today, which will be released this September.
Lavigne posted the photo on her Instagram, with the caption, “Thanks to all my fans for the amazing support! Here's an exclusive look at the cover of my new, self-titled album!” The cover has a black background and shows a headshot of Lavigne with gothic-looking eye makeup and her hair in a high bun.
The album, which will be released on September 24, already has two singles: “Rock N Roll” and “Here’s to Never Growing Up,” the latter of which has already gone platinum in the US, according to examiner.
Besides cranking out the hits, the 28-year-old singer has also been busy in her personal life. At the beginning of July, Lavigne married Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger in a ceremony in the south of France. This is Kroeger’s first marriage and Lavinge’s second – she divorced Deryck Whibley from Sum 41 in 2009, according to US Magazine.
