Aaron Paul, Ben Kingsley, John Turturro and Sigourney Weaver planning to join Ridley Scott's Exodus

Four more stars are about to be added to Ridley Scott’s new film Exodus.

According to Deadline Ben Kingsley, John Turturro, Sigourney Weaver and Aaron Paul are all being approached for Scott’s new biblical epic. They would join Christian Bale who is set to play Moses and Joel Edgerton who is playing the Egyptian pharaoh Ramses II.

Variety is reporting that Paul will play the Hebrew slave Joshua, who leads the people after Moses. Kingsley is being looked at for the part of a Hebrew scholar. Weaver and Turturro will portray the parents of pharaoh Ramses.

This will be the first time that Scott has directed Weaver since Alien, which helped launch both of their careers. Steve Zaillian wrote the script. Production is scheduled to start in September and is being filmed in England, Spain and Morocco.

Paul is just coming off the final season of the popular show Breaking Bad. Turturro is wrapping production on Fading Gigolo. And Weaver was recently seen on Political Animals, where she was nominated for an Emmy.

The tentative release date for Exodus is December 2014.
