This week on America’s Next Top Model, the models walked on a spinning runway and then posed in a trailer park photo shoot.
The episode started off with some drama in the house. Chris H interrupted Mike, so Mike told him to “shut the f--- up,” which Chris was very offended by.
Chris told Mike he expected an apology, telling Mike, “You telling me to ‘shut the f--- up’ is disrespecting me. And as a man, I will never look at you the same.”
Mike was shocked, saying Chris is overly dramatic.
Eventually, Chris had ‘house meeting’ where he explained to everyone that his mother physically and verbally abused him, which is why he overreacts all the time.
In their first challenge this week, the models walked in a fashion show – with a spinning runway. Nina was extra nervous because she had to do the challenge on her sprained ankle. She fretted that if she doesn’t do the challenge she’d be sent home, but if she hurt herself even more by doing it, she would have to go home anyway. In the end, Nina had a medic wrap her ankle so it would have some support on the runway.
Cory was the first model up for the ‘turntable fashion show.’ Despite a few stumbles, he looked fierce on the spinning runway. The ladies, who of course had to wear heels, had a more difficult time. Jiana screamed as she lost her footing. When it was Nina’s turn, she thankfully didn’t fall, although she looked like a ‘loose noodle.’ Jourdan, who said runways are her thing, did really well. All the other models made it through on their feet, too.
According to the judges, the four best walks were Jourdan, Renee, Chris, and Phil, while Mike and Jeremy did the worst. Jourdan was announced as the winner of the challenge. For her prize, she would get to appear on Nylon tv and keep her wardrobe from the fashion show.
The next day, the models posed in a ‘trailer park chic’ photo shoot. Kanani, Don, and Jeremy posed at a trailer park barbeque. Kanani looked fierce, but Jeremy had trouble not squinting his eyes with all the bright lights. Jourdan and Chris had a heart-to-hear about their rough childhoods before they posed together on a picnic table. Phil did a great job when he posed on a car with Nina, but Nina seemed distracted from the pain of her sprained ankle.
At panel, it was a good week for Jourdan because as well as the runway challenge winner, she also earned best photo. Despite her sprained ankle, Nina came in second this week, with Phil right behind her. Mike and Jeremy were the bottom two. Tyra told Jeremy that week after week she hears that he has the best male body in the competition, but his photos show that he doesn’t know what to do with it. Mike, on the other hand, won best photo last week, but his poor photo this week made the judges wonder if last week’s was a fluke. The scores showed that Jeremy beat out Mike by just a tenth of a point. Mike, who Tyra recruited when she saw him working on an ice cream truck, was going home.
Next week, on America’s Next Top Model, watch as the guys pose as girls, and the girls pose as guys!
