This week in comedy: Bill Cosby, 'Whose Line,' and so much more!

For fans of John Oliver, season four of his show, John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show, is returning to Comedy Central on Friday, July 26 at 11 pm. I have enjoyed this show, since it gives you a nice variety of comedians, and always a dash of Oliver.

Bill Cosby has a new stand up show airing! It has been awhile, but anyone interested in our favorite sweater-wearing, jell-o eating, family friendly comedian should check it out. It airs November 24, 2013, so make sure you set your icalendar reminders.

A roast of James Franco is coming to Comedy Central. Hopefully this one will be better than previous ones. Franco tends to be connected to more of the comedians I enjoy, as opposed to previous roastees, such as Pamela Anderson, or Bob Saget.

Also, keep an eye on Comic Con for some close ups with your comedy favorites, like Futurama, and South Park.

For just about any improve comedy fan, exciting news has arrived. According to TwinCities.com, Whose Line is it Anyway is returning. And it should include Ryan Stiles, and Colin Mochrie! It will be on at 7 pm on Tuesdays on the CW. I cannot wait for more of Mochrie's Scottish accent,
