Panic! at the Disco released a new single, “Miss Jackson,” this week, along with the announcement that they will have a new album out on October 8, entitled, Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die!.
The alternative rock band shared the news on their Facebook page, saying, “Music. It took us out of Las Vegas. It showed us the world. It introduced us to millions of amazing fans. It gave us hope. It gave us courage to be unique. To be proud of who we are as individuals. To share that pride with anyone who was brave enough to join us. So, be proud of who you are. Now for our next chapter, we return to Las Vegas, to the scene of the crime. Too weird to live, too rare to die!”
The new single features singer Lolo, and has a more pop feel compared to their most well known hit single from 2005, “I Write Sins Not Tragedies.” An accompanying music video for “Miss Jackson” has also been released.
Panic! at the Disco additionally announced a headlining tour which will begin August 1 in Boston, according to Alternative Press.
