Justin Timberlake’s new single ‘Take Back the Night’ criticized by anti-sexual violence group with the same name

Justin Timberlake has received backlash for his new single “Take Back the Night” due to not asking permission to use the name from the anti-sexual violence organization also entitled “Take Back the Night.”

The organization’s executive director Katherine Koestner told Radar, "Everyone at Take Back the Night is really shocked, because normally, we get asked when people want to use the name. Normally entities as large as Justin Timberlake do very kind and thoughtful things to support our cause.”
Koestner goes on to say that the lyrics to Timerberlake’s song are very sexual.
“[The lyric] ‘Use me,’ for example,” Koestner said, “is not a great phrase for anyone affiliated with the organization.”
Furthermore, Koestner explained that the first search result for “Take Back the Night” in Wikipedia is now the Timberlake song instead of the organization.
Koestner’s lawyers have contacted Timberlake about the issue, but Timberlake’s representatives responded that they were unaware of the group and that Timberlake is a good guy, according to Daily Mail.
A teaser video was released for Timberlake’s single on Friday, and has had great response from the singer’s fans.
