Amanda Bynes shields her face with dog

During a shopping trip in New York City on Wednesday, Amanda Bynes held her new puppy against her face to hide from paparazzi.

Bynes, the former child star of Nickelodeon’s The Amanda Show,has been in and out of Manhattan Criminal Court this week for allegedly throwing a bong out of a 36th floor window in May, according to the New York Post.
During her afternoon out, Bynes sported a platinum blonde curled wig and bright blue sweatpants as she was seen leaving a dog store with her new puppy. At the sight of photographers, she used the dog to block her face from sight.
Bynes was possibly trying to obscure the bruises on her face. She has been periodically getting touch-ups to her nose job, according to her personal twitter account.

The 27-year-old actress has been in the spotlight lately for the bong incident, shaving her head, and tweeting insults at rapper Drake. Using a puppy face mask is only the latest in her series of bizarre behavior.
