Action Bronson drops remix track

Action Bronson dropped “Strictly 4 My Jeeps (Queens Day Remix)” which features LL Cool J and Lloyd Banks on June 5 through Soundcloud and Youtube.

According to,a href= http://www.earmilk.com/2013/06/06/action-bronson-strictly-4-my-jeeps-remix-feat-ll-cool-j-lloyd-banks/> Earmilk, Action Bronson, the ginger-bearded New Yorker, released the original track in February. This means that this remix has been in the works for four months. Those four months must have been spent well because all three rappers kill it over a sick beat by Harry Fraud.

Featured rappers LL Cool J and Lloyd Banks represent Queens in this song which is appropriate because the original track acts as a Queens anthem. LL Cool J, who Spin calls “more of a TV personality than a rapper” seems to have found a renewed sense of invigoration, and he has no problem flaunting it in his verse.

Action drops a fresh verse for the remix. His verse makes it more than evident that he has risen to become one of the dominant rappers in the game.

Lloyd Banks had to fight to hold his own against the Action and Cool James, and the struggle is visible. The song as a whole doesn’t feel unbalanced though which indicates that Lloyd Banks succeeded.

Check out the remix on Soundcloud.
