9-year-old girl with fake unicorn passport passes customs

9-year-old Emily Harris managed to pass through security at Turkey’s Antalya airport with a fake passport that identified her as a Lily, a purple unicorn.

Nicky, the girl’s mother, had accidentally jumbled in the fake passport with the real documents.

According to Yahoo!, the fake document is a novelty item that was part of the family’s purchase from at the Bear factory retailer. On the passport case is a silhouette of a bear’s head. “Design A Bear” is written on the cover in gold childish handwriting.

Inside there are instructions for a game that uses the alphabet to indicate where the child has traveled. There’s another “Design A Bear” logo scrawled on the page. The next page contains space that the child could use to record “travel adventures.”

According to The Huffington Post, there’s even a photo of Lily, the purple unicorn. She is described as having a horn, a height of 37 cm, and black eyes.

Despite all these signs that indicate that the passport is fake, the passport was stamped and Emily was admitted into the country.
