'Which One Am I?: Multiple Personalities and Deep Southern Secrets' Review

‘Which One Am I?: Multiple Personalities and Deep Southern Secrets’ by Thomas Smith and James Darrell Williams.

This story revolves around Smith a man who was a journalist, publicist and educator who wanted a change in his life. He got a change in 2008 when Smith met James ‘Darrell’ one night at a bar, from there an adventure and love unfolds, but this adventure leads the both of them down the road of accepting and living with a multiple personality disorder.

Darrell has a multiple personality disorder, Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). The story offers his story through his eyes and is offered through a collective narrative that is strong, inspiring and lacking self pity. Darrell is a strong willed individual who goes on his life journey with Smith.

The story follows the two as they explore the past, the present and the disorder that has been affecting Darrell. It’s a story of acceptance, life and figuring out what comes next for the both of them.

Both Darrell and Smith find solace and understanding with one another as they explore the past and what makes them who they are.

The book is able to break down the disorder’s technical terms and give the reader a clear understanding, so that any reader can easily follow the story.

There are not that many books out there that deal with personal multiple personality disorders, but this book is very personable and a great read for anyone.
