This Week in Comedy - #Comedyfest

Comedy Central, the channel probably best known for the Daily Show and the Colbert Report announced #ComedyFest. #ComedyFest is a five day long festival between April 29-May 3 and will be organized entirely on Twitter. Check here for a list of the people involved.

The Jeselnik Offensive and Nathan for You have both been renewed for second seasons.

Pete Holmes’ new stand-up show, Pete Holmes: Nice Try, The Devil will premiere on Comedy Central May 12, 2013 at 11 p.m. ET/PT.

COMEDY CENTRAL Live is planning three free comedy events this summer in New York City in partnership with City Parks Foundation. The shows will be in Manhattan’s Central Park and East River Park and Brooklyn’s Red Hook Park. The acts will include The Dark Lords of Comedy, Cristela Alonzo, and some of the cast of the Daily Show is often involved.

Another final season for Futurama has been announced. This season is the show’s second final season. The season will premiere on June 19th at 10:00 p.m. and be thirteen episodes long. If you are a fan of the show, keep an eye on cc.com for extra content.
