Mick Jagger says One Direction reminds him of the early Rolling Stones

Mick Jagger has revealed that One Direction reminds him of the early days when The Rolling Stones were just starting up.

"I watched a concert of One Direction on the TV the other night, you know just to check [it] out. It reminded me very much of our early concerts, when we were pushed around among the audience and we would kind of float. [T]hey were like, floating above the audience, and they looked like, really distinctly uncomfortable," Jagger was quoted by The Huffington Post.

Those early days Jagger reminisces about happened 50 years ago as they celebrate their 50th anniversary this year with a tour and some secret shows.

"I remember feeling that same uncomfortable feeling of being pushed around in this very weird place about 50 years ago. It was a very funny moment, because it was very similar to the things we've been through," he continued as quoted by Examiner.

One Direction has been busy as well releasing their new album, Take Me Home, that is expected to take the number one spot on the Billboard charts.
